You weren't imagining things. Google Workspace apps, the digital backbone for millions, are officially sporting a brand-new aesthetic. Those redesigned icons, initially glimpsed last month, are now appearing widely on screens across the globe. We started noticing the shift just this morning.

As a frequent Keep user, I can attest it will take some getting used to. Still, the new visual is clean. Gmail’s icon, while tidier, remains largely recognizable, avoiding a dramatic transformation.

These changes arrive just days before Google I/O kicks off on Tuesday. The timing feels deliberate. Could Google be preparing to unveil even more visual shifts across its sprawling ecosystem? One has to wonder. The tech giant clearly believes in constant evolution. Users, however, might just need a minute to catch up.
